Dixie has always been the sweetest of girls. With early socialization she learned to love everyone that she meets. Her sweet confident nature and even temperament allows her to be at ease anywhere we choose to go. Dixie has been raised with children, babies, dogs, cats and birds. She will nuzzle on anything that will stay still. Dixie does have a very alert nature. She knows when anyone is pulling up in our driveway her bark will rattle our windows. She is also very alert while in the car. She believes it is her sworn job to let us know when she sees someone coming out of a store half a block away headed toward our car, just in case it might be a baddie. Her wagging tail gives her away though.

Dixie got her championship in March 2001 with 16 points and 3 majors at 14 months of age. She then finished the year with 28 breed points to finish the number 7th Bitch in the country in Breed points. She also does therapy work and we are planning to try carting and drafting with her. But most of all she is the best pet anyone could possibly have.
